Tips for Photographers / Videographers - how to treat them & how they should treat you!
TOP TEN TIPS!
1.Arrive on time!
2.Don't annoy the in-laws, you are providing a service, know your boundaries.
3.If you are only going to take pictures of one of the bridal family- be subtle!
4. Don't be intrusive - the guests are there for the bride & groom, and to have a good time, telling people to move out of the way is RUDE!
5. Weddings are a tense time for relatives - be patient emotions run high.
6.You have paid the Photographer / Videographer a lot of money - but you should make it clear what their boundaries are, common sense does not always prevail!
7. Provide them with clear instructions of what you would like and when certain shots must be taken!
8. The wedding family dictate to the service providers - NOT the other way round!
9. Ensure that all days and times are clearly agreed well in advance - things at weddings, especially asian ones, run late, so book them for as long as possible!
10. Neither the Wedding Families or the Service Providers should feel tense, ensure everything is agreed, and boundaries laid, and pay for services after the function rather than before - then hopefully ALL SHOULD BE WELL!
