Nachi Sohni (Album) - Legacy - Nov 2004

Legacy is back with another hit album.This summer sees the release of Legacy's fourth album " Nachdi Sohni"

An eight track album produced by top bhangra producer Sukhshinder Shinda guarantees to be a monster hit bigger and better then "Teray Sadqay." The album is a mixture of RnB, dance, Hip Hop and is fused with traditional punjabi vocals and music.This album Introduces new fresh sounds with a combination of fast and mellow/ romantic tracks.

To support the release of the album two videos have been filmed and the third video is in pre production.

Indo/Pak Peace Tour

Legacy lead singer has just returned back to the UK after touring the U.S. as part of the first ever ‘Indo/Pak peace tour.’ He was selected alongside, RDB, Shahzad Roy and Sukhbir for the event, which was compered by Ptv prime anchor, Sarmand of ‘Dream Saturday’ fame.

The tour, which was organized to help promote unity and peace between nuclear powers, India and Pakistan lasted for a month covering many cities and states across America including, New York and New Jersey, from where the tour moved on to Washington DC, Miami, Orlando, Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco, LA and lastly Houston where the tour came to an end.

Tariq Khan described the whole experience as phenomenal, “each show had its own distinctive style and atmosphere, the promoters, organizers, co-artists and dancers were like a big family; everyone was great. The crowds were amazing and thoroughly enjoyed the performances and would often ask for us to perform more songs.”

Meanwhile Legacy have confirmed their new eight-track album will be called ‘Nachdi Sohni’ and will be released later this year produced by sukhshinder shinda.

THE VOTING BEGINS AGAIN!
The Official UK Asian Music Awards Start the Ball Rolling

une 17th saw the start of the voting and nomination process for another year of the Official UK Asian Music Awards. The launch event and after-party took place at the funky CC Club in London's West End. Numerous acts and celebrities attended including Panjabi Hit Squad & Sanj Sanj amongst others.

The media launch was a quiet event, attended by many celebrities, including Addy from Eastenders! Things soon hotted up with the predominantly young crowd allowed entry from around 10pm... with the queues leading right out up to Picaddilly Circus! Read More

Junoon played live at Hammersmith Palais, London UK this Sunday for the India - Pakistan Peace Concert organised by Global Movement for Pakistani Renaissance.

For those of you who have been enjoying 'Pathaan's Indian Sunset'; his last mix cd release for ALTURA will be pleased to know he's now working on the follow-up to be released end of JUNE 2004.
