On Saturday March
26th, the Bollywood boom will reach its pinnacle, when
the glamour, glitz, and glitterati of Indian cinema
arrive in London, for one of the most eagerly anticipated
international and sensational events of the year, the
Zee Cine Awards 2005 - India's answer to the Oscars.
Never before in the history of Indian cinema has such
an array of A-list stars gathered together for an event
of this magnitude.
Established eight
years ago, the Zee Cine Awards 2005 has continued to
encourage brilliance and talent in the Indian film industry.
The ceremony pays tribute to outstanding film achievements
in 2004. Film aficionados will eagerly vote for their
favourite performances, making it the most democratic
award event of its kind.
Some of the coveted
accolades being awarded on the evening to anticipating
award recipients include, Best Actor Male, Best Actress
Female, Best Music Director and Life Time of Achievement.
The event will also bring together a unique combination
of eclectic, dynamic and vivacious performances by the
A-List of Bollywood, including Bride and Prejudice star
Aishwarya Rai and the Brad Pitt of India Shah Rukh Khan.
