Condemn Bomb Blast - Thursday 7th July 2005,
12.05pm
We
at MPUK are deeply upset with the coordinated bomb blasts
in London this morning. We deplore such criminal activity
with evil intent to injure or
kill human life.
We are deeply
concerned for those people who's friends, families and
colleagues have been hurt in anyway. Our prayers are
with them at this most distressing time.
God considers
all life forms as sacred. The sanctity of human life
is
accorded a special place. The first and the foremost
basic right of a human being is the right to live.
The Qur'an repeatedly
reminds us of our common origin: (O mankind! We
created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female,
and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know
each other (not that ye may despise (each other)).
Verily the most
honoured of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the
most
righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is
well acquainted (with
all things).) (Al-Hujrat 49:13)
God has commanded
humanity to avoid evil; He has forbidden immorality,
rebellion, cruelty, aggressiveness, murder and bloodshed.
God Almighty also
says in the Quran:
"Seek the abode of the hereafter with what Allah
has given you, without
forgetting your portion of the world. And do good as
God has been good to you. And do not seek to cause mischief
on earth. God does not love mischief makers." (Al-Qasas:
77)
