HOW
TO GET THE PERFECT SHAVE

Even the most
infamous Bollywood star doesn't look good with stubble,
so here is a guide on getting that really clean, smoothe
bollywood style clean shave.
The thought
of dragging a razor across your face is enough to
make most women skirm, but this seemingly death-defying
act is a ritual that guys perform on a daily basis.
However, from razor burn to ingrown hairs to tissue
paper covered nicks, they rarely escape unscathed.
Here are some pointers on getting the perfect shave.
Step 1
Always shave in the shower or right after taking one,
as the heat from the steam not only softens, but also
expands beard hairs. Soak a towel in very warm water,
wring, and drape on your face. Let the towel sit for
a moment to soften beard hairs, then wash your face
to remove impurities.
Tip: Alternate cleanser with a scrub a few times a
week to help beard hairs stand straight, allowing
for a closer shave.
Step 2
Pour pre-shave oil, to soften beard and condition
skin, into palm of your hand, rub in hands, and smooth
onto face and neck. Do not rinse.
Step 3
Apply a nice, even layer of shave cream (not too thick)
all over face and neck.
Step 4
Now you're ready to shave. We recommend using a double
or triple blade. Start at sideburns and work your
way down, shaving in the direction your hair grows.
Use short strokes, and make sure to rinse off blade
between each stroke. When shaving the neck area, shave
upward, using your free hand to hold skin taut. Save
chin for last, allowing the pre-shave oil to really
sink in and soften that area.
Step 5
Squeeze a dime-size amount of after-shave into the palm
of your hand and then rub onto your face. |
